The 2010 Fitzroy Island Australian Cable Wakeboarding and Wakeskating Team are heading to Germany for the 2010 IWWF World Championships which are being held in Neubrandenburg. The competition runs from the 16th - 18th of July and will feature the worlds best riders...from Germany, Great Britain, Holland and of course Australia! We are running a Special Nationals Training Clinic on Thursday 6th morning 8:30 am - 10am. The clinic is to provide assistance for perfecting your competition passes with the IWWF format, as this format is new to some people. We will provide the shirt line for anyone who wants to learn air tricks or perfect existing tricks. The session is $25 for adults and $20 for children. Nationals training clinics.....

The Suncorp Games were held at Cable Ski Cairns yesterday. We had a good turn out of riders, especially the younger riders, some in their first competition ever! The sun was out, after a fe w weeks of rainy weather and everyone was pumped to ride. The Kids Club competition was first, and Jacob Booij took out the top spot, hitting 4 obstacles, having been only wakeboarding a handful of times! In second came his younger 7 year old brother Ryan and third Leroy Easterbrook. W

Currently we are working hard to complete a new slider before the 5th stop of the Liquid Force Rail Jam series here in cairns. The new rooftop will be 500mm wide and 16m long, it should be a great new addition to the park. Photos to come when it is in the lake! The Taxi (pictured here) is also receiving a new lick of paint!!
